I love working with natural textures, found objects, distinctive stones and precious heirlooms — experimenting with metal smithing and wax casting to create sculptural forms that play with symmetry, imperfection and abstraction.

Cydra’s interest in jewellery design was sparked during her travels in Southeast Asia, where she drew inspiration from the metalsmiths she encountered. This passion expanded through her experiences in the fashion industry and costume design for film and television, enriching her artistic vision.

After completing her Diploma of Object and Jewellery Design at Enmore Design Centre in 2020, Cydra focused on creating core pieces and bespoke jewellery commissions. Recently, she has begun to explore object design, including barware and flatware, which embody her distinctive aesthetic.

Each piece is intended to be meaningful and durable, inviting users and wearers to connect with the stories behind the designs and appreciate the craftsmanship involved.

All pieces are created and made by Cydra on Gadigal Land in Newtown and Marrickville, Sydney, Australia. Metals and gemstones are ethically sourced and recycled first and foremost wherever possible.
